6 WHEELCHAIR OPERATION
DO NOT wrap
thumb or fingers
under the seat rail.
Point fingers and
thumb to the
inside of the
wheelchair.
Folding the Wheelchair
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 2 on page 41.
1.
If equipped with optional push handles, refer to Placing the Optional Push Handle in the Storage Position on page 44.

Remove the footrests. Refer to Installing/Removing Front Riggings on page 49 or Refer to Installing/Removing Elevating Legrests on page 52.
3.
With both hands, grasp the middle of the seat upholstery (A) at the front and back edge and lift up.
CAUTION
DO NOT allow upholstery to hang between the cross braces.
4.
Place excess seat upholstery over the armrest.
