Terminating the Speaker Cable

To terminate the cable, strip the end of the cable 0.2 inch (5 mm) and secure the wires
into the supplied 4-pole captive screw connector as shown in figure 43.

Figure 44 details the recommended termination of both ends of TP cables with RJ-45
connectors in accordance with the TIA/EIA T568B wiring standard.

TP Cable Termination
• The PoleVault signal transmission method is specific for PVS 407D switchers
working with PVT digital wallplates. DO NOT connect the input ports to an MTP
system or to an Ethernet/LAN or data transmission system.
