Recording and Playback Enhancements

This version introduces several enhancements to configure and use unique XT Recording and
Playback features.
Recording and Playback Configuration
Recording and Playback configuration now is available only to an XT Administrator, with the
following new preferences, from

Location
Ignore Mute on Playback: when this option is active, the audio of the playback is heard locally
and transmitted to the remote peer also when the XT is muted.

No recording: this option will disable both recording and playback.
Automatic (default): this option will let the user choose to record a session to the local
USB Storage (USB key plugged in XT Coded) or to the Scopia® Recording Server (only
when connected to a Scopia® MCU Meeting with recording capabilities, if XT is managed
by the Scopia Management server controlling the Meeting).
USB Storage: this option will allow recording and playback when a USB key/disk is
plugged to XT USB port.
Scopia® Recording Server: this option will allow network recording (not playback) when
connected to a Scopia® MCU Meeting with recording capabilities, if XT is managed by the
Scopia Management server controlling the Meeting.

When recording, the number of calls in a hosted meeting is up to 6.
o
Do not remove the USB storage while recording.
o
In this version it is possible to record to USB storage also encrypted calls. The
content is not encrypted.
