Ensure that you have disconnected any cables or wires attached to the optical ILA (see Disconnecting a
Fiber-Optic Cable from an Optical ILA).
Ensure that you have the following tool available:
Screwdriver appropriate for your rack-mounting screws.
To remove an optical ILA from a rack:
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the front-mounting screws that attach the chassis mounting brackets to
the rack or cabinet.
2. Remove the optical ILA from the rack.
3. Transport the optical ILA to your desired new location or pack it to prepare to return (see
