1.5 Safety checks

1.5.1 General safety checks

Object
Fuel lines and connections.
Power cables.
Exhaust system.
Hydraulic hoses.
Drive the machine forwards/backwards and
release the drive/service brake pedal (the
right pedal).
Test driving.

1.5.2 Electric safety check

Status
The clutch/brake pedal not depressed.
PTO not activated.
The clutch/brake pedal depressed.
PTO activated. (The control for the
implement lifter must be in floating
position in order for the power take-off
to be activated.)
Engine running. PTO activated.
Control for implement lifter not in float-
ing position.
