Calibrating Joysticks in Windows 7:
1. Confirm the motion computer; onboard computer and projector are
powered on.
2. Connect to the onboard computer through the Tight VNC shortcut on
the motion computer.
3. Click Start/Devices and Printers.
4. In the Devices and Printers window there is two HAPP UGCI USB
Flying boards listed, right click on one of them and select Game
Controller Settings.
5. In the Game Controllers window you will see two EP1 Interrupts
listed, one for each seat/set of controls. NOTE: If you do not see two
EP1 Interrupts listed there is a problem, check the USB connections
from the onboard computer to the HAPP control boards.
6. Select one EP1 Interrupt and click on Properties, in this window you
can test the function of the joystick, throttle and buttons.
7. To calibrate click on Settings/Calibrate then Next.
8. Sit in the machine and look at the projector screen, follow the Wizard
through the calibration steps pressing one of the joystick buttons to
advance through each step. Make sure to move the joystick as far as it
will go in all directions when calibrating.
9. At the end click Finish then Apply to save.
10. Test the joystick, make sure the + follows the joystick movements
accurately and smoothly. (if it does not follow the joystick movement
then repair to the wiring or replacement of potentiometers may be
needed)
11. Test the throttle slider follows the throttle movement.
12. Select the other EP1 Interrupt and repeat the calibration steps, at the
end close the Game Controllers window.
13. Close the onboard Tight VNC connection and test the joysticks in the
games.
