Start-Up/Shut-Down Guide - MaxFlight FS-VC Manual

MaxFlight Electric Machine Startup
1. Turn the switch on the A-frame power strip to ON.
2. Turn the Motion/Operator Computer ON by pressing the power button on the front
of the computer inside the a-frame.
3. Confirm the Monitor is ON.
4. Turn the TV(s) ON.
5. Confirm the Audio System is ON.
6. Turn the cockpit TV/Projector ON using the remote control (and camera if installed).
7. Turn the On-board Computer ON by pressing the red button on the back of the case.
8. Wait for the computers to boot to the desktop and initialize the programs.
9. On the Motion Computer, click on the G3EH Motion icon to start the G3EH
Motion Program and allow it to initialize.
10. Complete the daily safety checklist.
11. Pull out the main power E-Stop under the monitor for the power box/inverters.
11. When the inverters are powered up you will see Green lights blinking on the motion
screen for the listed inverters.
12. Open the Command program.
13. Wait for available rides to display.
14. Click on a Flight or Video/Coaster tab from the game options. A list of available
aircraft or coaster tracks will show under Available Rides.
15. Select an aircraft or coaster track; this will initiate the on-board software.
When the program is fully loaded on the onboard computer the Dispatch Status
Window will state "Game is Ready".
16. Load patrons and verify seat belts, shoulder restraints and crotch belt are correctly
positioned and fastened about the patrons. If running a Demo (empty) ride buckle the
seat belts and harness belts.
17. Explain the controls and occupant E-stop function.
18. Close and Latch the Canopy, install safety cable.
19. To run each ride:
a. Click on "Raise", the machine will raise to the balance position; counterbalance,
and continue raising to the top run position.
b. When fully raised the "Start" button will be available (dark).
c. Click on "Start" to begin the ride.
d. The ride will run until the flight time or track ends, at the end of the ride the
machine will return to the Home level position.
e. The "Lower" button will now be available.
f. Click "Lower" to bring the machine down. NOTE: Wait for the machine to
come to a complete rest on the platforms before opening the latch.
g. Open the canopy and assist patrons from the machine.
h. Extend belts for the next riders.
i. Repeat above steps for each ride.
NOTE! Should the patron inside press the "E-Stop Button", the machine will stop and
return to the home level position. A Yellow Alert Message will appear in the lower
(G3EH Motion)
