• Be recognizable that the indicator belongs to the Buzz component(s) in normal operator
position (IEC 60601-1:2012 Clause 15.4.4)
NOTE: Be aware of national deviations which must be fulfilled.
Grounding (Protective Earth) / Equipotentiality Post (Buzz Computer Only)
• It is the customer's responsibility to provide a means for connecting the Brainlab-provided
Protective Earth cables of the monitor(s) close to the installation location prior to system
installation. The customer must choose a terminal connection cross-section that meets the
national and local standards for protection.
• The equipotentiality post, located on the back of the computer may be used to connect other
equipment, ensuring that all devices are at equal potential. (Note: The potential equalization
post is not available if the Buzz computer is wall mounted.)
• The use of the potential equalization connection is not mandatory.

Conduits/Duct Work
On-site preparation, size and routing of conduits for SELV power and fiber optic transfer lines
according to the Brainlab drawings. Conduit layouts must be adjusted to meet site-specific
requirements.
Networking
Network access points (LAN drops) as nominated on Brainlab drawings.
