Mechanical Specifications
Customer Responsibility
All indicated specifications are requirements to be fulfilled by the customer during planning,
storage, installation and operation.
It is the customer's responsibility to carry out structural/static load analysis and certify the design
and construction of the substructure.
The customer is responsible for a safe mounting of the mounting plates to the wall in case of Buzz
On-Wall, respectively for a safe mounting of the mounting frame into the wall in case of Buzz In-
Wall. This includes the definition of the components used to mount the device. These components
including material and material quality must be adequate for the structure/substructure of the wall
and the weight and dimensions of the respective device.
Installation Considerations
The touch display assembly of Buzz can be flipped around its lower edge in order to service all
components. The chosen mounting location must provide sufficient clearance in front of and below
the Buzz touch display.
The ventilation openings of the Buzz components must not be covered.
If Buzz is mounted flush (In-Wall system), sufficient heat dissipation must be ensured by either
structural measures or an active ventilation system. The ambient temperature shall not exceed the
defined limits during normal operation.
Wall-Mounted Devices
• Stainless steel or galvanized screws/bolts shall be used to mount the wall mounted
components.
• Depending on the wall medium, the customer must use fasteners sufficient for the overall load
of the system components under consideration of local codes (safety factors, etc.).
