1. INTRODUCTION

You have just purchased a Cuisinart® multifunction food processor. This
machine is a quality tool which will allow you to achieve all sorts
of preparations rapidly and with great ease.
Apart from its powerful motor and very large-sized bowl, it is provided
with the following features:
• Extra wide feedtube opening – perfect for slicing whole fruits and
vegetables.
• The KNEAD touch-pad control. We have designed a special blade
for you and calculated an ideal speed of rotation for kneading
dough, which allows you to prepare any sort of dough in a matter
of seconds
Thanks to these two features and the attachments provided, all culinary
preparations are now easy.
2. DESCRIPTION
1. A motor base with a vertical spindle and very practical digital touch-pad
controls.
2. A preparation bowl holding 2.6 litres.
3. A spatula (not illustrated).
4. A lid with an extra wide feedtube opening.
5. A pusher for sliding into the feedtube opening.
The pusher is composed of two parts:
- A wide pusher for the widest feedtube opening
- A small pusher located inside the widest pusher. The small pusher is
designed for long ingredients like carrots, to add liquids or smaller
sized ingredients like garlic.
The lid of the preparation bowl is equipped with a safety device which
is triggered as soon as the pusher is inserted into the lid, allowing the
motor to start up.
6. A blade for kneading dough, specially designed to function at the
"kneading" speed.
The kneading blade has been designed to operate in conjunction with
the "KNEAD" touch-pad control. It allows you to achieve perfect dough
in a matter of seconds.
7. A blade for chopping and mixing ingredients.
The chopping blade enables you to chop raw uncooked or cooked fruit
and vegetables, nuts, aromatic herbs, meat, fish and cheese, as coarse-
ly or as finely as you like. The chopping blade also allows you to pro-
duce a purée and to.prepare certain types of dough.
8. Two metal slicing discs.
The metal slicing discs (2 and 4mm) allow you to achieve magnificent
even slices of fruit, vegetables and cooked or raw uncooked meat. Just
like the graters, the metal slicing discs are used with the detachable
nozzle.
9. Two graters.
The graters (4 and 6mm) enable you to cut the majority of firm or hard
cheeses into long thin strips. They also grate vegetables like potatoes,
carrots and courgettes, and even chocolate and nuts.
