10.6 The cutting condition

10.6.1 The cutting thickness
The below mentioned materials are applicable to plasma cutting
The maximum cutting thicknesses of YP-060PF are shown in the table below
The maximum cutting thickness of YP-100PF are shown in the table below
When carbon steel is cut by different machine, the recommended cutting and piercing thickness range
are shown in the table below

10.6.2 The cutting speed
· To realize a fine cutting result, please select proper cutting speed according to the base metal
material and thickness.
"The maximum cutting speed" is the fastest speed of which the cutting machine can realize the stable
cutting.
"The recommended cutting speed" is the given reference speed of which the cutting machine can
achieve the optimal cutting quality (cut-off width, inclining angle, adhering slag and cutting surface
roughness).
·To gain the satisfied cutting quality, please adjust the cutting speed according operational
surroundings, material and base metal shape.
