10 The cutting technique and condition

Plasma arc exposure against a body part such as hand or finger may cause a burn.
·When the cutting torch switch is pressed, air can blow from cutting tip end and
high voltage can be generated from the cutting tip, so please never touch it!
Regarding cutting method of the Product, according to the relative position of cutting tip and cutting
material, cutting methods can be classified into contact cutting and non-contact cutting.

10.1 The contact cutting

Please avoid unnecessary operation of the cutting torch switch, otherwise the consumption of the
electrode can be accelerated by generating arc without base metal.

Do not press switch under the
statues when cutting tip side
and base metal end touches or
cutting tip vertical contacts with
the base metal, otherwise it
can causes cutting tip burning

Excessively fast cutting speed
may bring too much spatter. It
not only can cause the fail of
cutting, but also the cutting
torch body burning
causing human injury by the
carbonization.
Please finish the cutting on the
status when cutting tip contacts
with the base metal. Because
the strong arc is generated at
cutting tip side, cutting tip
burning loss can happen.
