Apply a liberal amount of grease to the coil spring.
2 Insert the coil spring assembly into the upper tube.
3 Install the top cap onto the spring assembly.
Push down firmly and squarely and thread the top cap into the upper
tube. Tighten the top cap.
To avoid damage to the top cap hex, use a socket with a flat sharp
edged surface. File the edge of the 24 mm socket attachment flat as
needed.
