8. In the StakMax Software window, click Run.
9. Make sure that there are no plates in the reader and then click
OK.
10. In the Run Options dialog box, click Start Immediately and then
click OK.
The first of the five plates is loaded into the plate drawer.

The plate drawer closes, the plate is read by the reader, and

then the plate drawer re-opens.
The plate is picked up and placed in the output stack.

The process continues for all of the plates in the input stack.

After the plates have been processed, they are moved from

the output stack and are re-stacked in the input stack.
This repeats 9 more times for a total of 50 plate load and

unload cycles.
11. After all 50 plates have been read, a stop alarm appears in the
Run Control area. Click the stop alarm to end the job.
If the plates are stacked properly during the functional test,
your StakMax System passed the functional check.
If you need to install, move, or replace the instrument barcode reader,
follow the instructions below.

Required Equipment

• 3 small button-head screws (included with barcode reader)
• Barcode reader with cable (visible laser Class II)
• 2 mm allen wrench for barcode screws (included)
• 3 mm allen wrench for opening side panel if necessary
(included)
