1. Ensure the voltage selector switch is set to the correct setting: 115V or 230V.
2. Connect the Ultra 10 power cord.
3. Connect the keyboard and mouse.
4. Connect the monitor AC power cord.
5. Connect the monitor cable.
6. Connect the Ethernet cable.
7. Connect any audio devices.
1. Turn on power for the monitor and for all system peripherals.
2. Press the rear panel power switch on.
3. Verify that the power indicator LED above the front panel Standby switch is lit

Cabling the System and Peripherals
Connect the system and peripheral cables in this order:
Caution – Connecting a 115V power cord into a 230V connector will severely
damage the system.

Note – Before powering on the system, refer to "Configuring the Preinstalled
Software" on page en-5 to determine whether you will be using the preinstalled
software or manually installing software.

and release the front panel Standby switch.
Note – The first time you power on the system, you are prompted to select the
Solaris
software version with which you want to configure the system (Solaris 7 3/
99 and Solaris 8 are both preinstalled). To help select which software to use, refer to
the instructions in "Configuring the Preinstalled Software" on page en-5, and to the
