The PF2200 Systems screen holds the more global settings and information on the PF2200. Here you
will find troubleshooting information, settings, backup, restore settings as well as Firmware Updates.
4.3.4.1
EVENT LOG
The Event Log records system events from user input and
system changes. This information and is invaluable when
troubleshooting issues as well as user changes.
Each event is Date and Time stamped along with a
description of the event. You can scroll through the past
information of the log file by using the
Up and Down Arrow keys.
The User Interface has a limited number of events that is
can store. If the volatile storage space is at maximum the
data will be overwritten from oldest to newest. If the unit is power cycled all the event data will be
cleared.
When a USB storage device is installed in the supplied USB port on the back of the enclosure door, the
system will automatically log events to the storage device.
This log can also be exported to a USB stick to facilitate sending the log to support for analysis or for
record keeping.
1. To export the Event Log to a USB storage device.
2. Opening the front panel of the PF2200.
3. On the back of the front panel slide the USB stick in the USB port provided.
4. Close the front panel and ensure the panel is sealed if there is any dangerous gases or fluids
present.
5. Navigate to the System screen by pressing the Carousel key twice from the Status Screen.
6. Highlight Event Log (if not already highlighted) and press the OK key.
7. When the Event Log screen opens Press the OK Key to extract the Event Log to the USB storage
device.
This will export the event log to the USB stick and allow you to remove the stick and save and or send
the log file to a support specialist.
