  • Page 8 MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS The PF2200 has the approvals for installation in a Zone 2 or Class 1 Division 2 locations. The enclosure is typically mounted near the burner it is controlling or in another location that is both safe and easily accessible.
  • Page 9 PRODUCT PROTECTION To protect the system from being damaged, it should not be mounted: 1. Where chemicals may splatter or bubble over from a tank onto the system. Chemicals on the keypad may interfere with an operator’s ability to control the product or view the display and LED indicators. 2.

  • Page 15 TEMPERATURE INPUTS There are four distinct temperature inputs available: Bath, Outlet, Stack, and Aux. The Bath, Outlet, and Stack inputs are configurable to accept either a Type-K thermocouple or a PT-100 RTD sensor. The Aux temperature input on terminals 43-44 is intended to be connected to a temperature sensor with a 4-20mA interface. The Bath input is mandatory and must be connected to a Dual Element temperature sensor.

  • Page 24 INTERFACING The PF2200 Single Burner BMS is a logic solver designed to interface with various sensors and final elements. These configurations can be broken down into the following categories: Inputs Switch Contact Inputs: digital switch connection to the PF2200. • 4-20mA Loop-Powered Inputs: 4-20mA input powered by the PF2200.
  • Page 25 SETTINGS MODIFICATION Below is an example of the navigational sequence to enter the Bath Sensor type setting. To navigate to any element of the Settings screen is identical. Once in the Settings screen, use the Arrow keys to highlight any element and press the OK button to enter the specific settings related to the element for a Drop-down Option menu item, or the Plus / Minus key for a Numerical Digital Setting.
  • Page 26 When an attempt to make a setting change is conducted, the system will challenge the user for a Note: Password. Use the Arrow keys in the correct sequence followed by pressing the OK key to Authenticate and continue to adjust settings. This security challenge resets after five minutes regardless of activity. It is also important to note the system is capable of being set up for remote access that will allow for setting changes from a remote location.

Here you will find troubleshooting information, settings, backup, restore settings as well as Firmware Updates. TEMPERATURES The Temperatures diagnostics screen delivers a real- time temperature status of all the commissioned elements the system controls.

  • Page 30 FLAME DIAGNOSTICS The Flame Diagnostics screen shows a real- time evaluation of the Pilot status, including flame strength, DC High voltage as well as AC voltage in millivolts. Along with the real-time flame status, this screen also provides Flame Fails and Relights. On the right side of the screen displays a graphical representation of the flame health ranging from Strong to None.

  • Page 32 KEYPAD The Keypad diagnostics is a tool to test the functionality of the keypad. Upon opening the Keypad diagnostics screen, the Keypad test starts by instructing the user to press the Start Button then leading the user through a test of each key on the keypad. As keys are pressed, a checkmark is displayed next to the associated key.
  • Page 33 DATA LOGGING The Data Logging tool monitors various inputs and outputs data and automatically logs this data to the USB storage device. Navigate to the Systems screen and highlight the Data Log menu item. Press the OK key to display the Dato Log Configuration screen.

This includes, but not limited to such information like Hardware Model, Serial Number, Manufacturing Date, Testing Date, Firmware Version, as well as information on the User Interface software.
