Type: Screw terminal 1 (see Chapter "Control cabinet installation and EMC / connection system")
1) DI: digital input; DO: digital output; M: Electronics ground
2) The fast discharge function is used for discharging the capacitors in the DC link after interruption of the line supply and
may be used a maximum of 1-2 times per week.
Prior to performing maintenance task at the drive system, the following tasks must be
performed:
1. Disconnect the system.
2. Protect against reconnection.
3. Make sure that the equipment is de-energized.
4. Ground and short-circuit.
5. Cover or enclose adjacent components that are still live
These tasks must be performed in the above mentioned order prior to maintenance. After
maintenance proceed in the reverse order.
