Passive (Fan Only): The thermostat only
turns on the fan for ventilation. This
assumes the system has a damper that
automatically opens whenever the fan runs.
Fresh Air Damper: The thermostat turns on
the fan and opens a fresh air damper for
ventilation.

Thermostat Controls Fan: The thermostat
turns on the ventilation equipment and the
fan when ventilation is needed.
Equipment Controls Fan: The thermostat
