► To toggle between Multi and Serial mode, tap the [Mode
selection] field on the upper right side of the touchscreen.
– or –
1. Press the [A] key.
2. Tap the [More] button.
3. Tap the [λ Mode]
4. Tap the desired Auto λ Mode.
Enabling tone modulation
To enable tone modulation:
► Tap the [Mode selection]
touchscreen until the desired modulation frequency is
displayed.
– or –
1. Press the [A] key.
2. Tap the [Modulation]
3. Tap the desired laser modulation.
CW – Continous Wave, 270 Hz, 1 kHz, or 2 kHz is marked.
Note: A modulation frequency of 270 Hz, 1 kHz, or 2 kHz can
be set only if one single laser is selected and Auto λ is
turned off.

Setting the power level

The power level can be set for each wavelength separately and
will be stored permanently.
Changing the power level
√ The instrument is in Laser mode.
1. Press the [A] key.
2. Tap the [Adjust Level]
3. Tap the desired wavelength.
The display changes to edit mode.
4. Press the arrow keys to increase or decrease the power level.
Press once to change the level in 0.01 dBm steps.

Hold down the key to accelerate the step rate.
5. Press the [F] key.
