General information

WARNING
Dangerous laser radiation
Laser radiation can cause irreparable damage to eyes and
skin.
The maximum permitted power for the OLTS-85 means that
the optical input signals can reach hazard level.
Bear this in mind when using the OLTS-85.
Always be aware of the hazard level of the instrument to be
connected.
Connect the optical fiber before switching on the radiation
source.
Switch off the laser source before disconnecting the optical
fibers.
Never look directly into the unconnected port of the output
of a laser source or an optical fiber connected to it.
Always cover unused ports.
Heed the normal precautions for working with laser radiation
and consider local regulations.

Powermeter measurement

Selecting a wavelength from the λ table
The instrument is in Powermeter mode.
Tap the lower left side of the touchscreen until the desired
wavelength is displayed.

Press the [A] key.
2.
Tap the
[λ]
button.
Select Wavelength menu is displayed.
3.
To select a wavelength, tap a preselected wavelength.
