5. 3D MODE
6. Left-click the
[1 Width] sets the scanning area width in the tilt cross-section mode.
The following figure shows the scanning area when the tilt angle
(center of the tilt angle) is "50°" and [1 Width] is set to "60°".
7. Select [Quit], then left-click.
8. Select [2 Tilt Speed], then left-click.
9. Select the desired setting, then left-click.
Select the auto tilt speed in the tilt cross-section mode. The larger
the setting number the faster the scanning speed.
10. Select [Quit], then left-click.
11. Close the menu.
Start tilt angle and sweep angle for the tilt cross-section mode
You can change the starting tilt and sweep angle as follows.
1. Open the menu.
2. Select [7 3D Functions], then left-click.
3. Select [2 Display Mode], then left-click.
4. Select [1 Tilt Cross-Section], then left-click.
5. Select [3 Start Tilt Angle], then left-click.

When the tilt cross-section mode is active, the tilt angle is changed
to the start angle set here.
7. Select [Quit], then left-click.
8. Select [4 Start Sweep Angle], then left-click.

changed to the start angle set here.

Sweep cross-section mode

The sweep cross-section mode rotates the detection beam in a sweep (revolution) di-
rection with the tilt angle fixed to "90°", and shows the underwater sonar echoes
around own ship in 3D format. This mode is useful for finding the position of a school
of fish.
Note: The RESET TILT, AUTO SWEEP and AUTO TILT keys are not used in the
sweep cross-section mode.
