4. After adjusting the calculation area position, left-click the display to fix the calcu-
lation area.
The fish volume and signal strength distribution for the school(s) in the calculation
area appear in the density information window.

Note: You can go back to the previous display (figure at step 1) and change the
calculation area position by right-clicking the display.
5. Adjust the calculation area size as required.
There are two methods for adjusting the calculation area size.
• Scrollwheel operation: Spin the scrollwheel to increase/decrease the calcula-
tion area size.
• Menu operation: You can adjust the length, width and height of the calculation
area from the menu. See section 5.11.2.
6. To deactivate the density calculation function and close the density information
window, left-click the [Density CALC ON/OFF] button to change the button label
to read "Density CALC OFF".
