cient Setting1] to [5 Coefficient Setting4]), then
left-click.
The pop-up window shown to the right appears.
The X-axis indicates the echo strength (level)
and the Y-axis indicates the coefficient setting.
The information is used to estimate the volume
of schools of fish from echo strength and is ad-
justable. This allows you to compensate the es-
timated volume of schools of fish versus actual
volume. The value obtained by multiplying the
value for each echo intensity specified in the
graph by the value set in [Magnification] is the
conversion factor (unit: t/1,000,000m
5. To adjust the curve, place the cursor at the point
desired then left-click.
6. Select [Magnification], then left-click.
7. Left-click the or button to select the desired setting.
8. Select [Quit], then left-click.
9. Select [Apply], then left-click.
Note: You can also revert the settings to factory default. Select
[Default], then left-click.
10. Select [Quit], then left-click.
11. Close the menu.

How to save the coefficient setting data
The coefficient setting customized at section 5.11.3 can be saved and that data can
be loaded into the equipment. Do as follows to save the coefficient settings:
1. Open the menu.
2. Select [7 3D Functions], then left-click.
