7.1

Fault elimination

Risk of electric shock and fire
Touching live parts may cause electric shock or even death! Damaged charging cables and
connectors can cause a fire.
• The system may only be opened and repaired by the manufacturer, its service
• Follow the five safety rules in the event of damage and faults.
Procedure in the event of a fault
If the charging station experiences a fault, proceed as follows:
1. Check the icons on the display. You can find an overview of the icons in the table in the
Main menu (Page 67) chapter.
2. In the FAQs (Page 80) chapter, you will find a selection of possible causes of faults.
3. If you are unable to rectify the fault yourself, contact the operator's service hotline.

Service technician faults

7.2.1

Meter fault

Meter fault message
If there is a fault on the meter, the following message is shown on the display.
Description
The EVSE controller reports an error.
Maintenance required.
The charge point is deactivated and the
active charging is stopped

department or similarly qualified persons. This also applies to the replacement of a
damaged charging cable.
Cause
Communication with the
meter is disrupted.
Solution
Replace the defective meter.
Only the manufacturer or companies commis-
sioned by the manufacturer may replace defec-
tive meters.
