Mower Drive Belt

• Never place any part of the body under the cutting blade shield when the mower
is running.
• Do not allow bystanders to come near the machine when inspecting the mower
drive belt.
• Adjust belt tension properly. The improperly tensioned belt may reduce
performance and its service life.
NOTE
• The V-belt stretches (breaks in) when it is new. Inspect and adjust the V-belt after
the first day's (4 hours') use.
• For a longer service life, inspect and adjust (as necessary) the V-belt as the daily
pre-start up checks.
Maintenance
Inspecting and Adjusting
1. Remove the engine hood, rear cover and
rear bumper.
2. Turn the mower clutch lever to [ON].
3. Inspect the condition of the V-belt to be free
of damages or wear. Replace if damaged or
worn. Contact your CANYCOM
representative for replacement.
