5.
Move the mower clutch lever to [OFF].
6.
Visually inspect if the lining is firmly in contact
with the lining groove on the pulley.
7.
Shake the turnbuckle to see if there is some
play.
Lining
8.
If the lining is not firmly in contact with the
groove, or the turnbuckle is too tight, readjust
the turnbuckle.
9.
Move the mower clutch lever [ON] and [OFF]
several times, then perform checks 4 through
7. Adjust as necessary.
10. Reinstall the rear cover, engine hood, and
bumper.

Park the machine on a horizontal ground.
2.
Move the cutting height adjust lever to the
lowest position.
3.
Have an appropriate oil drain pan.
4.
Remove the drain plug to drain gearbox oil.
NOTE
• Removing the oil filler cap helps drain oil.
5.
Install the drain plug back in place.
6.
Remove the filler cap and fill the specified
amount of correct oil into the filler.
NOTE
• If it is difficult to reach to the filler, use an
oil jug or remove the seat and the plate
under the seat.
7.
Install the filler cap back in place and move
the cutting height adjust lever to the highest
position.
