2.0 Setup
2. Install the new EEPROM in the socket marked "UI5." Be careful to align the notch
(pin 1) at one end of the EEPROM with the notch painted on the circuit board (under •
the socket).
Caution: Failure to align the EEPROM will destroy it when
power is applied!
3. Insert the Scanner Control board back into the cabinet (lower-left slot). Verify that it
is fully seated in the slot. Observe anti-static handling procedures.

Scanner Board UVPROM
1. For

Scanner board, remove the UVPROM from the socket marked "U58."
2. Install the new UVPROM into the socket marked "U58" on each Scanner board. Be
careful to align the notch (pin 1) at one end of the UVPROM with the notch painted
on the circuit board (under the socket).
Caution: Failure to align the UVPROM will destroy it when
power is applied!
3. Replace the Scanner boards in the order in which they were removed. Verify that
they are fully seated. Observe anti-static handling procedures.
Closin~
Expansion Cabinet
1. Replace the front panel and install the six mounting screws.
2. Reconnect the cable between PC and tester.
3. Reconnect the power cables.
Final Test
1. Tum on the power switch and observe the red LED lamps on the boards. They should
light momentarily for approximately two seconds.
2. Reconnect test fixture interface cabling if all LEDs tum off.
