13. Change settings as necessary to match the above screen.
14. \Vhen all changes have been made, press ESC to exit and return to the main BIOS
Setup Program screen.
15. With the BIOS SETUP UTILITIES on display, move the cursor down to \VRITE TO
CMOS AND EXIT (eighth line) and press ENTER. The following prompt will
display:
Write to CMOS and Exit
(YIN)?
N
16. Press the letter Y to save the changes in CMOS memory. The setup program will
terminate and the computer will automatically reboot.
Configuring 286-Based Systems
1. Locate the three DOS diskettes packed with the DOS manual that is shipped with the
Series 90.
2. Insert the diskette labeled INSTALL into the 3.5-inch floppy drive on the front of the
Controller.
3. Press CTRL, ALT, and DELETE keys simultaneously to "warm start" the system.
After a delay, the screen will display a Welcome message as shown below:
Welcome
Welcome to DOS 4.0 and the SELECT program. SELECT
will install DOS 4.0 on your fixed disk or diskette.
If you install DOS 4.0 on a diskette, the number of
blank diskettes you need depends on the type and
capacity of your diskette drive.
