3.2.1.2 Rack Mounting

Procedure
Step 1 Determine the installation dimensions.
Step 2 If adjustable guide rails are configured, install them and floating nuts. If no adjustable guide
rail is required, install only four floating nuts.
Do not push the guide rail out of the rack when putting the UPS into the rack, as the front end
of the guide rail is not screwed.

Clamp the mounting ears of the adjustable guide rail to mounting bars.
Install floating nuts by using a flat-head screwdriver.
