Pan Driver Board

To remove pan driver board:
Step 1. Remove both upper enclosure covers following the procedure described in
Enclosure Covers Removal" on page
Step 2. At pan driver board, disconnect all wiring from board.
Step 3. Remove 2 x 6-32 x 3/8" PFSS B screws from board mounting plate.
Step 4. Tilt board towards the PFC. At underneath, remove 2 x #4 KEPS nut and flat washer and
remove cable saddle.
Step 5. Tilt board towards lamp driver. At underneath, remove 1 x #4 KEPS nut and flat washer and
remove cable saddle.
Step 6. Then remove 1 x 4-40 x 5/8 PPZ SEMS screw and disconnect pan encoder shield wire
Step 7. Remove other 3 x 4-40 x 5/8" PPZ SEMS screws and remove pan driver board. Note the
placement of the 2 x Thermal pad*.
Note: *You must remove thermal pads from old driver board and install on replacement driver board.
Step 8. Replace in reverse order.
