OPERATING PROCEDURES
If the blades are in good condition, place the rear
scraper blade over the rear holding pin on the beater.
(See Figure 6-4.)

Note: Scraper blades should be replaced every
3 months.
Note: The hole on the scraper blade must fit
securely over the pin to prevent costly damage.
7. Holding the rear blade on the beater, slide it into the
freezing cylinder halfway. Install the front scraper
blade over the front holding pin. (See Figure 6-5.)

8. Before installing the beater shoes, check the shoes

for any nicks, cracks, or signs of wear. If any defects
are present, replace the beater shoes.
9. If the beater shoes are in good condition, install the
beater shoes. (See Figure 6-6.)

10. Slide the beater assembly the rest of the way into the
freezing cylinder.
Make sure the beater assembly is in position over the
driveshaft by turning the beater slightly until the
beater is properly seated. When in position, the
beater will not protrude beyond the front of the freez-
ing cylinder. (See Figure 6-7.)

