1. Introduction
THANK YOU for purchasing the Giles Model GBF Series Electric Fryer, manufactured by Giles Enterprises, Inc.,
Montgomery, Alabama (USA), hereafter referred to as "Giles". Every unit is thoroughly inspected and tested prior
to shipment in efforts to ensure that it will operate flawlessly when installed. With proper care and maintenance
the appliance should provide years of trouble-free service.
To help protect your investment in this new equipment, we recommend that you take a few moments to become
familiar with the procedures in this manual pertaining to installation, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the
appliance. Adherence to these recommended procedures will minimize potential for costly downtime and future
repair expense. Please retain this Manual for future reference.

Construction

Constructed of 18 and 20 Ga. 430 Stainless Steel. Inner cabinet structure is welded tubular stainless steel frame.

Standard Features

Computer Controller: Controls cooking oil temperature and cook time. Dual cook timers, fifty (50) programmable
menu Item cooking presets, monitors fryer status
LOW OIL LEVEL, MAX. ELEMENT TEMP, etc). Features BOIL OUT program, COOL MODE function, FORCE FILTER
control, multi-language, and password protection capability.
Built-in Oil Filtration System: Completely self-contained system helps to extend the life of cooking oil. Features
1/2 HP pump; designed to perform a filter cycle within approximately five (5) minutes. Centralized system serves all
units of multi-fryer banked configurations.
Multi-Well Frying: Available as a banked battery of 2, 3, 4, or 5 fryers.
Stainless Micro-Mesh Filter Screen: Reuseable, 115 micron retention Filter Screen replaces need for paper filter
media to eliminate paper waste and reduce long term cost of operation.

Automatic Basket Lift: Two (2) Basket Lifts per unit. Automatically lifts basket of cooked product from hot oil at
