SPEEDGLIDER ADVANCED OPERATOR MANUAL
4. Fill Time Out
2. Max Peak Failure
A fill time out occurs when either the container is misaligned or the fill regulator
is not set nearly high enough. If the container is properly centered, increase
the Fill Regulator setting until a Fill Time-Out no longer occurs after performing
a manual test.
Note: On some large containers it may not be possible to turn the fill regulator
up high enough. In these cases it may be necessary to increase the fill time.
For longer stroke cylinders it may also be necessary to increase the Fill Time.
A minimum peak failure occurs when the pressure in the container reaches
above 0.5" of water column (minimum allowed pressure value) but below the
minimum peak value. Notice that the gauge is in the red zone. Increase the Fill
Regulator until the Minimum Peak Failure is no longer present after performing
a manual test.
There is also the option of changing the minimum value by selecting the box
and changing the value.
Maximum peak failure occurs when the pressure in the container exceeds the
maximum peak setting (in this example, its 12.00" of water column). Notice
that the gauge is in the red zone. Decrease the Fill Regulator until the
Maximum Peak Failure is no longer present after performing a manual test.
There is also the option of changing the maximum value by selecting the box
and changing the value.
The over-pressure for fill occurs when the pressure in the part exceeds the
maximum setting for the part pressure which is hard coded at 25 IWC.
Decrease the Fill Regulator until the Over Pressure Fill is no longer present
after performing a manual test.
