Approved disinfectants:
▪ CaviCide / CaviWipes (Metrex)
▪ Microcide AF Liquid (Schülke & Mayr)
▪ FD 322 (Dürr Dental)
▪ Incidin Liquid (Ecolab)
Note
The exterior of the camera and camera hose can be disinfected with chemical
disinfectants.
Comply with the manufacturer's instructions for use with regard to the applic-
ation range. and exposure time.
Material damage due to use of non-approved disinfectant.
Damage to the camera.
▶ Use approved disinfectants only.

2.4.9 Reprocessing KaVo PiezoLED

Cleaning
Malfunctions from cleaning in the ultrasonic unit.
Defects in the device.
▶ Only clean manually or in a washer disinfector!
▶ Only product parts bearing the automatic cleaning symbol may be subjec-
ted to automatic cleaning.
The subsequent cleaning/disinfection must be started within 2 hours.
