1.2 Network Configuration

model 1000 permits system configuration using three types of networks: Ethernet,
TOSLINE-S20LP and RS-485 computer link.
A monitor and control network employs an Ethernet (10M) to transmit data between the
monitor/controller (OIS/HI) and controllers.
OIS1200 or a general-purpose personal computer is used as the host computer.
Figure 1-2 shows a combination of model 1000 units.
• Mixed use of low-speed and high-speed modules on the same I/O bus is not allowed.
