The loops to be displayed on the front panel are subject to the LD512H and CPU module
(default: address switch).
The LD512H provides a multi-loop display (up to 8 loops).
Multi-loop display refers to a mode in which loop display can be changed using the
switches on the LD512H.
(1) Digital display
PV, SV, and MV are selectively displayed. PV and SV are displayed in engineering
values, and MV is displayed in percentage (5 digits). The type of parameter
displayed can be checked by watching the digital indicator LEDs.
• PV: PV LED ON
• SV: SV LED ON
• MV: MV LED ON
The value of which of the loops is displayed can be checked by watching the loop
number LEDs.
Loops 1 to 8: LP1 to LP8 LEDs. The applicable LED lights.
include:
• Initializing: OFF
• Transmission error with the CPU module, or CPU module in other than RUN mode:
Err-1
• Operation/display disabled due to an LD512H error: Err-2
(2) Control modes
The current control mode (M: Manual; A: Auto; C: Set value remote) is indicated by
the LEDs located next to the C, A, M switches. (The appropriate LED only will light.)
(3) Bar graph
• PV LED bar graph
Displays a PV value with a resolution of 1% (with an underflow or overflow point)
• SV LED bar graph
Displays an SV value with a resolution of 1%. If a process upper or lower limit alarm
is generated, the LED shows the normal range blinking.
The FAST/SEL switch may be used to stop the blinking (alarm confirmation) and to
display the upper and lower limit alarms (PH/PI) set.
• MV LED bar graph
Displays an operating value (0 to 100%) with a resolution of 2% (with an underflow or
overflow point). Regardless of the type of a valve (normal operating valve/reverse
operating valve), valve position, namely, whether the valve is open or closed, is
displayed.
The value of which of the loops is displayed can be checked by watching the loop
number LEDs.
• Loops 1 to 8: LP1 to LP8 LEDs. The applicable LED lights.
All the bar graphs go out if operation/display is disabled due to a transmission error
with the CPU module, or display/operation disabled by an LD unit error.
