The functions are the same as those of the EN531 except for the Ethernet connector
different in form from that of the EN531.

(2) Setting switches
Before mounting an EN531T module in the base unit, set the switches determining
the host ID of the EN531T module and its operation mode. These switches are
provided on the front of the module.
The setting procedures are as follows:
1. Host ID switches
On the front, there are hexadecimal rotary switches, which set a host ID to determine
its Ethernet IP address. Set an address in hexadecimals (1 to 62) within the range
allocated during system configuration. Allocate a different value to each node in the
system. Use a small slotted screwdriver to set them.

2. On the front, there are 4-bit DIP switches that determine the operation of the EN531T
module. Use a small slotted screwdriver for setting these switches. Table 1-22 shows
a description of each switch.
