5.1.1.4

Creation of pressure zones

In order to supply valves with different pressures, pressure zones for the working air and the pilot air
can be formed within the valve terminal. The pressure zones are limited by separating seals between
the manifold sub-bases è 5.2.1.1.5. Separating seals for pressure zone formation.
Each pressure zone must be supplied with compressed air via a supplying component. Pressure-free
zones must not be created.
Pressure zones are essential in order to operate vacuum or low-pressure-compatible valves with other
valves.

5.1.2.1

Formation of voltage zones

With the CPX terminal and the pneumatic interfaces, voltage zones can be formed in the pneumatic
part of the valve terminal.
The 24 V power supply to the valves is provided via the load voltage supply valves of the CPX terminal
(U
).

The power for the pressure switches and the vacuum generators is supplied by the electronic power
supply (U
