Remove SQA-V from sources of electronic noise (cell phones, etc.).
Clean measurement compartment (refer to Appendix).
After cleaning:
Press SERVICE > ESC, MAIN MENU will be displayed.
Select TEST NEW PATIENT and re-run test.
If this message is displayed again, reboot the device:
Turn the system OFF then back ON at the main switch on the rear panel.
Press the front panel ON/OFF key to begin Auto-Calibration and Stabilization.
From MAIN menu: Select TEST NEW PATIENT and rerun.
Call technical support if this message is displayed again. Prepare for technical support by
printing a copy of the SQA-V internal parameters.
4. Concentration Out of Range
A message will appear indicating that the tests results for SPERM CONC. and/or MSC
are beyond the dynamic range established by the manufacturer for testing. This
message will appear if the SQA-V reads:
SPERM CONC. > 500 M/ml or
MSC > 450 M/ml
Review sample handling technique (see Appendix "Filling the SQA-V Capillary").
Re-test the sample in a new SQA-V capillary. If the message appears again, reboot
the system.
Call for technical assistance if problem persists.
5. Sample size out of range
If the sample size has been entered as > 50 ml the calculated parameters will not import to
the V-Sperm software.
6. I-Button warning screens
"I-button not properly activated"
Remove the I-button
Press ESC and Retry
TEST RESULTS
OUT OF PHYSIOLOGICAL RANGE
RETEST SAMPLE?
YES/NO
I-BUTTON NOT PROPERLY ACTIVATED
OR NOT RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM
