Visualization 15. Visualization LED Replacement (Part #KHD-908-000849-03)
LED
ISSUE: No light seen from the light source, even after increasing the illumination by
pressing the illumination button intermittently.
1. Open the SQA-V
2. Disconnect the Optical Assembly
3. Unscrew three screws holding LED house cover
4. Using small flat screwdriver remove the LED house cover
5. Disconnect the LED cable from the main board (location J1)
6. Replace the faulty LED cable, re-attach the Optical Assembly and close the SQA-V

To remove dust spots: Clean the CCD and the lens, according to
the instructions in this manual.
Тhe problem is specific to systems with SN below #1411 – please
SQA-V is contact MES support for upgrade option. If your device has SN
which is above 1410, open the SQA-V and check the cable
connecting the optical column to the MB and to the video splitter


If the problem persists after replacing the cable- contact MES
support
This type of problem can only occur in old systems- with SN below
#1318. In case of frozen or stuck image- please contact MES
support services

Verify that it is attached securely on both sides and that
the cable does not appear damaged in any way
If the cable is damaged- replace it with a new one (part #
KHD-908-000852, instructions can be found in the
appendix section of this manual)
