1. Open the SQA-V
2. Disconnect the Video screen cable from

5. Secure the new Video Control board to

Turn off the power and unplug the power
cord from the inlet on rear panel of SQA-
V
Open the SQA-V
Turn the power on briefly just to check
to see if the green indication light of the
surge protector is on
If the indication light is off, the surge
protector must be replaced
Turn off the SQA-V and disconnect the
power cord from the rear panel
Remove the printer from the rear panel
Disconnect the printer cable and set the
printer aside
Pull down to unplug the green connector
of the surge protector
Using a 5.5mm socket screwdriver,
unscrew the 4 nuts connecting the Surge
Protector to the rear panel
Replace the surge protector "body" (grey
part) with a new one
Reinstall and tighten the four nuts
Reconnect the printer cable and return
the printer to its designated location on
the rear panel
Close the SQA-V
