Terminal assignment and schematic circuit diagram

The TM Pulse 2x24V technology module is used with a BaseUnit of type B1 (article number
6ES7193-6BP20-0BB1).
You connect the digital input and output signals and the sensor supply to the BaseUnit of the
technology module. The supply voltage connected to the BaseUnit supplies the module and
the digital outputs and generates the sensor supply voltage.
BaseUnit
The BaseUnit is not included in the scope of delivery of the module and must be ordered
separately.

Supply voltage L+/M
You connect the supply voltage to the L+ and M terminals of this BaseUnit. The supply
voltage from the module on the left cannot be used for this BaseUnit. An internal protective
circuit protects the technology module from polarity reversal of the supply voltage. The
technology module monitors for connection of the supply voltage.
Note
Point-to-point and low-impedance wiring
High switching frequencies of the outputs and high output current combine to load the central
power supply (24 V DC) of the plant. You should therefore observe the following when wiring
the module:
• Connect the supply voltage to the module in a point-to-point manner and with as low
impedance as possible (short cable with as large a cross-section as possible)
• If necessary, use a separate supply voltage
