Gas Valve (Gas Dryers Only) - Whirlpool duet GGW9200L Series Job Aid

GAS VALVE (GAS DRYERS ONLY)

1. Disconnect the electrical power to the
dryer.
2. Set the ohmmeter to the R X 1 scale.
3. Disconnect the wires from the gas valve
terminals.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the ter-
minal numbers shown in the chart. If the
resistance readings are not within the lim-
its specified in the chart, replace the gas
valve.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to loop the wire har-
ness back through the strain relief after test-
ing.
