Removing the Gas Burner Assembly Coils
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off gas supply to dryer.
3. Perform the procedures on page 4-2,
Console/User Interface (UI) and Top
performing the following steps.

Panel" before performing the following steps.
5. Remove the ignitor from the burner (see page 4-12 for the
procedure).
6. Disconnect the 2-wire and 3-wire connectors from the
burner coil assembly terminals.

7. Remove the two screws from the burner support bracket
and remove the bracket from the burner.
8. Remove the two screws from the front of the burner
bracket and remove the burner assembly from the dryer.
9. Remove the two screws from the coil retaining bracket.
10. Lift the two coils off their cores and remove them.
