section 3 : VERTICAL STABILIZER

FUSELAGE - REAR VIEW
Trial fit the vertical stabilizer and check the alignment.
When you are satisfied that it is correctly aligned use a
pencil to trace around the right and left side of the stabilizer
where it meets the fuselage.
Realign the vertical stabilizer , ensure that the vertical stabilizer is perpendicular to
the horizontal stabilizer. Now glue the vertical stabilizer into the fuselage, using a
generous amount of 5 min epoxy. Apply a thin layer of epoxy to each of the two
joints and the entire bottom edge of the vertical stabilizer, use a generous amount
to ensure a strong bond. Use rubbing alcohol or similar to clean off excess epoxy.
section 4 : TAIL WHEEL & RUDDER
Assemble the tail
wheel as shown
and secure to the
fuselage with 2 off
3 x 12mm screws.

Drill 2mm diameter holes into the leading
edge of the rudder at the points shown. Make
sure that you drill the holes perpendicular to
leading edge of the rudder.
Secure the barbed hinge points in place
using thin CA glue.

Remove the vertical stabilizer from the fuselage.
Using a sharp hobby knife, carefully cut away the
covering inside the lines which were marked above.

once again be careful not to
cut into the wood.

Drill 1mm holes in the rudder for the 2 control
horns and the steering arm. Fit the horns and
the arm with the provided screws.
