section 1 : HORIZONTAL STABILIZER Pull the elevators out of the horizontal stabilizer. Cut two slots (only in the covering) on the top and along the trailing edge of Cut away the covering on the horizontal stabilizer. both sides as shown to allow the stabilizer to slide through the fuselage Trial fit the horizontal stabilizer and check the alignment.

section 2 : HORIZONTAL STABILIZER Cut away only the covering Pull the horizontal stabilizer through the other side of on the top and bottom the fuselage and repeat the previous procedures to realign the horizontal stabilizer, then glue the horizontal stabilizer into the fuselage.
section 3 : VERTICAL STABILIZER Cut away only the covering on the left and right side, once again be careful not to cut into the wood. Remove the vertical stabilizer from the fuselage. Using a sharp hobby knife, carefully cut away the covering inside the lines which were marked above.
section 5 : TAIL WHEEL & RUDDER Using 5 min epoxy glue the barbed hinge points into the vertical stabilizer. When the glue has set fit the 2 supplied springs between the rudder steering arm and tail wheel steering arm. Drill 2 x 2mm holes as shown and fit the horizontal stabilizer rigging points using 2 x 10mm screws.

If fitting a gas or glow engine then follow the instructions on this section 12 : ENGINE page, if fitting an electric motor go to page 12. Using a aluminum motor mounting plate as a template, mark the fire-wall where the 4 holes are to be drilled (1). Remove the aluminum motor mounting plate and drill a 5mm hole through the plywood at each of the 4 marks (2).
