4.3 Application [ Parameter Setting ]

Use ACS Service or ACS Operation to parameterize or configure the central communi-
cation unit via Applications [ Parameter Setting ].
This document also talks of configuration/configured instead of parameterization/
parameterized. Both terms have the same meaning, as in both cases, plant and
project-specific values are set in the data points.
There are command sequences and data points with identical names. E.g. "Basic
configuration" is used for command sequences as well as for data point.
Pay special attention to command sequence "Time / Date" (for time synchronization
data points) and data point "Time / Date" (to set the current time and date).

4.3.1 Data points in the "Commissioning" operating page

Explanation, example
Configuration diagram for basic type Z and
basic configurations Z01, Z02, Z03; see
Appendix, Section 7.3.
Explanation, example
Inputs N.X1...N.X8 (terminal inputs) correspond
to universal inputs. They are preconfigured for
potential-free status contacts (default value =
Digital) and can be configured for analog signals
and counting pulse contacts.
Explanation, example.
Each [time switch 1...4] corresponds to one of
the four FBs "7-day time switch with operation
selector".
Relay output N.Q_ is preconfigured for each
time switch, allowing for time-dependent
switching of consumers.
Setting value "---" does not control a relay
output N.Q_.
Max. 6 switching points (3 On, 3 Off) can be set
per day for each time switch.
