6.4 Remote operation and alarming via Ethernet
6.4.1 ACS CD V5.10
The software ACS CD V5.10 (CD Version 5.10) is available from summer 2008.
This software allows the web server OZW775 to send fault messages and system
reports (of the central communication unit and the devices on the KNX network) via
Ethernet to a PC/laptop with installed program "ACS Alarm".
Check the software version in the web server or the central communication unit; see
Section 2.4.
Prerequisites for remote alarming via Ethernet to PC/laptop with ACS Alarm:
• The web server OZW775 (central communication unit) is integrated physically and
logically in the network.
• Software version (firmware) V2.0 or higher is installed on the web server (central
communication unit).
• The web server is connected to the DNS server.
• "ACS Alarm" (from ACS CD V5.10) is installed on the PC/laptop.
• The "Connection TCP/IP" on the PC/laptop is monitored via program "ACS Alarm";
see Section 6.4.4.
• Port 49194 (for ACS Alarm) is open, i.e. the firewall does not block port 49194.
• The data points are configured (IP address, IP subnetwork address (subnet mask),
default gateway (= DSL router), DNS server).
Sending fault messages and system reports via USB to PC/laptops with "ACS Alarm" is
possible already from ACS CD V5.02.
