Example: Modem type = GS

Applications > Parameter Setting...
Command sequence: Settings > Communication > Modem.

Parameterization reference data point "Modem type = GSM".
After you parameterize the modem type, you must also parameterize the message
receiver.
Data points of "Message receiver" (receiver 1...4), see next pages.
Example: Message receiver 1 for SMS to mobile phone.

Applications > Parameter Setting...
Command sequence:
Settings > Message receiver > Message receiver 1 (SMS 1).

Parameterize reference data points:
Receiver type = Mobile phone
Interface
= Modem
3.
Parameterize the other data points or keep the default values:
Message receiver 1
Transmission protocol
Fault priority
Message repetition
Phone number receiver
Select the telephone service provider and modem depending on the message receiver.
If you use a GSM modem, make sure the SIM card allows for data communication and
is not protected by a PIN code.
